Hello.  My very talented friend John co-created his own (excellent) comic convention last year during  Thanksgiving weekend in Cleveland, Ohio-- Genghis Con.  I found out about it in November and wanted to attend, so I very, very quickly put together a short comic book for the convention.  Very quickly-- this is maybe a week or two's work.  It was a tremendous time, so I'm glad I did it.  The book, though...

Honestly: me personally, I don't think it turned out too good.  There weren't enough jokes for my liking; a couple jokes felt stale; and I didn't particularly like how I closed out the first Chapter, but couldn't think of anything better there in the time I had.  So I wasn't in a hurry to post it, and for a while, thought I wouldn't; would just let it go buried... but... I got to thinking about it today, and figured, you know, I'm pretty at peace with having sucked, so what's the harm...?  Sometimes things come out okay; sometimes they don't.  Oh, well. Learning experience.

Also, Item!  The Dracula comic was featured in Man's World: India's Classiest Men's Magazine back in December.  On the same page as Kubrick, Lang, A Bout de Souffle, and the Coen Brothers (!!!) so... That happened...!? Thanks to Bibek Bhandari for putting that together.  They let me get a shout-out to Namak Halal in there, too, which was a great honor.
